ABOUT PARADISE RANCH
I have been fascinated with miniature horses most of my life. We researched bloodlines 5 years before purchasing our first mini's in 1996. We had a plan of blending and mixing certain bloodlines to produce small, refined quality horses topped off with gorgeous heads and necks. We also have managed to breed minis with charisma, fluid motion and personality plus!
We carefully chose our breeding stallions with certain qualities, colors, backgrounds, attitude and bloodlines. Our bloodlines come from some of the greatest foundation sires in the industry. Rare, as these great stallions died at younger ages and therefore had fewer offspring.
Our goal is to mix and blend these bloodlines to produce fabulous minis. It seems to be working.
The care our horses receive is based on years of research. Extremely well cared for, our minis are healthy, happy and great producers. Regular hoof trimming every 4-6 weeks, teeth floated once a year, wormed every 6 weeks and vaccinated twice a year.
When foaling time arrives, the mare is brought to the "maternity ward" and viewed with 24 hour monitoring cameras and fitted with foaling alarms that alert the foaling attendant when the mare assumes the foaling position. We are present at the birth of each foal to ensure a proper and safe delivery, assist if needed and to enjoy the beautiful miracle of birth. All of our foals are then "imprint trained" so that they are easier to work with later in life.
The breeding stock have all been DNA tested and are registered with both AMHA and AMHR.

We breed for small, refined, correct miniatures topped off with beautiful heads and necks along with fluid motion and personality plus!
Our bloodlines include Chianti, Stouts Mr. Pride, Rowdy, Chocos Little Specks Red Boy, Bond Dominick, Bond Galahad, Egyptian King, Paul Bunyan, Double O Seven and a Half Moto, Dell Teras Moon Man, Lazy N Red Boy and Komokos to name a few.
