Below are comments new owners have made about their PIGLETS from Paradise
I promise that I won't bombard you with too many more pictures! He sleeps with his tongue out (cutest thing I've ever seen). He loves his harness. Shane Phillips Hey, Sorry its taken so long. Kids got sick and its been crazy! Gordy is doing awesome! He loves me. He just follows me around the shop and at the house. He'll get in my lap and sleep for awhile. So sweet! He's still not liking the idea of me picking him up. So when I do, its very quick. Usually just to get him up the step. I put a kitty harness on him today, thought I might try the whole leash thing. Is that a good idea?? I ordered food from the website you sent me like the day before! I had found it before but it said shipping took awhile so I ended up calling them and we got it worked out. It wasnt supposed to be here till Monday but I got it Friday which was perfect! Amanda
Bently is doing great and family took a nap together yesterday.....he is eating and is potty trained already.....Thanks so much ohhh if she could talk she would tell you she is THE happiest pig ever!! She has 9 bros and sis's and they all love each other. She has 2 mommies, and a daddy. My bf fell in love :) She get s to graze free w the 2 beautiful mini horses (my 2.5 yr old mare just lost her front tooth and looks like a hillbilly ha ha) they say it's her baby toof :B. She is still inside except for grazing. She has accidents, but that is because of the chihuahua who has peed inside and she smells it. But mostly she uses her litter box. Our house is 4200 sq ft so it's hard for her to probably remember to go find the litter box too. She never poops in the litter box in her pen! SHe doesn't want to have to smell that! ha ha. She is fantastic. My daughter and I just dote on her, we can just watch her for hours. It's similar to having a 2 yr old! She is soo smart! And only 6 months old...wow. I think the singing and the laughing are the best. And when she gets cranky about 7:00, she walks around going weeeeep hooooonk! It's super high pitched and then super low. We mimic her and then she smiles and mimics back..tooo funny. I really gotta make some u tube videos. She is a celebrity at the local starbucks. She even went for a ride in my 65 vette last weekend ;) She tells me which station she likes. She is a VIP very important PIG!! Love her :D Hi, Kristy! We are all doing great! Daisy is settling in nicely and has become the center of everyone's attention :) Attached is a picture of her trying to get into the drawer below the washing machine.... That's where I keep the Cheerios - her absolute favorite treat!! I hope all is well with you and Jock and the farm. Take care Aimee Soooo cute! My son plays the guitar and she walks around singing along! Then me and my daughter were laughing really hard, and she laughs along! It is just too funny. We really love her. SO smart. And only 9 weeks old? wow.
Hi! Just letting you know petunia is fitting right in at the mini farm! Litter box trained in one day! Wow such a cutie. Thanks :)
Thank you so much for our newest addition, Blue. He is doing great. He has been playing with his new brothers. Here are a few pictures from the last few days.
Also, thank you for the website links.
Thanks again for everything, Danielle and Justin
I officially bought the best pig ever Right now he is sleeping in my bed. He is already potty trained. And he follows me around the house. I love him! Thank you so much
she is doing great. has yet to have a single accident on the floor which is just amazing to me that she has picked up on it so quickly. she has begun to warm up to us all. she cuddles with my girls when they lay on the floor with her and she just loves her little pink princess bed. we are all just so madly in love with her already.
i will def keep in touch. and i will send some pics soon. we have named her bella. today we are introducing the harness and leash. she squealed quite a bit putting it on but other than that so far so good. she has been warming up to us pretty quickly. she has started following me all over the house today and even crawled into my lap to take a nap. just too precious!!! Julie
Thought you might like this. I go into wake James this morning and he is not in bed. So I go to turn on the light for Jumpers room and open the door. There is James and Jumper curled up asleep. James says sleeping with him is the only way to keep him quiet and happy. So cute. Sorry I was not able to get a picture. Thanks again!Barbra Just wanted to let you know we made big progress today, she is letting me pet her from head to tail and when I pull my hand away she chases it :) she is a big sweetie and we are so happy with her :) Hi Kristy! Pippa is doing great! She lets everyone in the family pet her without getting scared, and Sunday we even had friends stop by, and she let them pet her as well J We put her little harness and leash on her 2 times for a short period so she could get used to it. Once inside the house to wander around, and outside yesterday. She loves to explore! She also really loves to cuddle with me, she will jump in my lap and just cuddle down. So cute! Oh and yesterday she started using her litter box! Yeah!! You were right, it is amazing the difference in her in just a short period of time! -Stacey Look who has taken up residence with me on the couch :) She squeals like she is on fire if anyone tries to take her from me (lol) And Chloe Black Beauty Madison will only let my husband or daughter hold ! Both girl pottied Outside this morning !! Chloe did not like the harness and Zoe let me put hers on while she ate ! They loved being outside ! Eating is not an issue :) we gave them water as soon as we got home last night and they were rooting everywhere looking for food so we gave them a small amount and they went right to sleep :) I'll update you and call later ! Love, Robynn
Kristy We just put the girls to bed and it has been an interesting day :) Zoe Seck has already caught on to potty training and hasn't used the bathroom inside all day, Chole Black Beauty however is having trouble holding it until she can get outside. She does good but as soon as the front door opens she starts dribbling .LOL Zoe is very clingy with me and squeals everytime I put her down or walk to another room and Chloe is very content to lay in her bed and watch TV for hours unless one of us goes into the kitchen, then she runs wide open hoping to get a treat. She's already learned that my hubby is the treat man and she keeps a good eye on him. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Robynn
I love them :) I suppose I had "over read" and expected two little demons that would need weeks to settle in, but they have been very easy compared to the "wild animals" that we have rescued. Of course they are still skittish but if we are in the floor then they are in our laps. They beg and beg for us to get in the floor if we are on the couches. They have made it very plain that they don't want up on the couch but instead they want us on the floor :) and that's fine until they get more trusting about being picked up. Zoe Speck never stops talking unless she is asleep and Chloe Beauty never talks unless she wants something and then she has this VERY deep voice that is hilarious and sounds like a bull horn. I think Zoe Speck would have been lost without Chloe Beauty because every night Chloe always gets in bed first and then Zoe creeps in beside her and they sleep all night like little spoons and never wake up. So far no "accidents" for 3 days. Zoe runs to the door and squeals like she's on fire when she has to "go" and then Chloe strolls over to see what all the commotion is about and goes out also. They do have a very rambunctious side during the day and get put in "time out" for biting each other (time out is separate playpens) for about 10 minutes and then we put them back in the floor and it usually stops the fighting for about an hour and then they go at it again. It's usually horse play that gets outta hand and then they start ultimate fighting. We are very happy with our new additions and have gotten so attached to them already. They do have plenty toys but they arent very interested in them ! They had rather play with us or each other :) Trent built them outside playpens side by side. 10'x4' each and they run it constantly when out side. They designated the last foot on the common corner as the potty area and the opposite corners as the rooting area. Although Chloe Beauty is much bigger, it is obvious that Zoe Speck is the lead pig. She was the first to potty train, sit for treats and venture down the hallway to check out where Katie's room was and beg to get on the bed with her :) .... Chloe Beauty is always skittish and lets Zoe Speck check to make sure it's safe before she tries it. Zoe Speck has taken to her harness much, much easier than Chloe Beauty. Chloe is always trying to back out of it or take it off and sometimes Zoe tries to help her out ....lol I do let them nap together during the day but they have separate play yards at night for sleeping because I don't want them bonding with each other and not us ! Right???? I think that was what you suggested???? anything to her because she was in her playful mood and wasn't growling or squealing. Robynn She is such a ham ....lol I swear sometimes she sounds just like a baby whining when she wants something. They have both brought such joy to our lives already :) .. They are both a little skittish still but NOTHING like the first couple of days. Usually every evening we have been getting down in the floor with them an playing but they haven't wanted anything at all to do with being picked up. Every time we attempted to pick them up they would squeeeeeeeaaaaal like we were taking them to the barbecue pit.. Sooo last night I looked a Zoe and I said, "little girl, you can squeal all you want but i will not put you down until you stop". So I picked her up and she squealed and fought ...... and I snuggled her up close and she squealed and fought and I snuggled her up close and she squealed (stopped the fighting) and then I told her the story of the two little pigs that went to Kentucky about 5 times and after what seemed like an hour but actually was about 3 minutes. she quit squealing and then I rubbed her tummy and scratched under her arms and put her down. Tonight we had a late supper because we were getting things done on the farm before it rained and so instead of getting in the floor we sat on the couch and let the girls play in the floor with there toys and blankets. They started begging for treats but we ignored them and all of a sudden.... Chloe jumped up on the coffee table and then on the couch to get to her treats that were on the back of the couch..... we were in shock... it's a good 18 inches off the floor to get on the coffee table.... so poor little Zoe whined and whined and then she realized that she could climb on our granddaughters little chair, then the table and then the couch.... soooo needless to say after doing it once, it happened about 100 more times :) I tried to get a video of it. I send it if I can. Talk to ya later, Robynn
